History Center to house interpretive exhibits describing what it means to be Wichita.

Anishinabe Design, Inc., along with Barrett Williamson, led the design for a new 4,237 sf History Center to house interpretive exhibits describing what it means to be Wichita. Topics covering the history and culture of the Wichita are presented in a way that tells the story of the Wichita in their voice. Features include a Gift Shop, Interpretive Theater, Wall of Faces, Exhibit Gallery, Multipurpose Room for temporary exhibits, Exhibit Workroom, Archive Storage, Study Area, Office, Restrooms and incidental storage and mechanical spaces.
