Anishinabe Design, Inc. was formed in 2008 by Cheryl Lockstone, Citizen Potawatomi Nation, and her spouse, Barrett Williamson, Principal Architect of the firm. Anishinabe Design focuses on serving the Native American community’s needs with a design process that provides culturally appropriate and quality design. It is a 51% majority Indian and woman-owned firm.
We believe that we should be good stewards of our planet, and we approach our design opportunities in ways that are ecologically responsible and stay within budget constraints.
Anishinabe Design is a certified vendor with Muscogee (Creek) Nation CESO, Cherokee TERO, Chickasaw Nation Preferred Vendor, Choctaw Nation Preferred Supplier, and a Member of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce. Cheryl is a participant in Leadership Native Oklahoma Class of 2022.
